DIAGNOSING A PROBLEM

If your vehicle is acting funny, running rough, making odd sounds or just not driving the way it should – call and make an appointment. We will find the problem and eliminate it. On most vehicles (newer models), we use the same type of state-of-the-art computer equipment (which analyzes the way the car is operating) that dealerships or chain stores do. Most problems can be diagnosed quickly and handled with little problem.
If there is a persistent or hard-to-figure issue, we will do computer searches until we find the manufacturer service bulletin or another practitioner’s solution that will solve the problem. We don’t just start “doing things” and hope that we’ll get lucky! We believe in using proven diagnostic technology to right solutions without replacing unnecessary parts.

Many people ask how we can do so many types of work, just being “a local garage.”
It’s simple – because we have been in business for so many years, we have developed long-term relationships with specialty shops in our area who we know and trust.
We may not physically do all the work (transmissions are a perfect example) but we’re involved every step of the way. Because several types of specialty expertise and equipment are not something we need every day, we may not have them on site – BUT, we know who CAN whatever is needed, and who we work with them, with all work under our supervision and project management.

Our belief is – you have enough to do without having to shop all over to find a trustworthy repair facility in one or several narrow specialty areas.
That’s what we do – we know vehicles and we know who can fix just about anything that goes wrong with them. Most things we do ourselves, but we take responsibility for everything that we promise to get done for you.
